When the cables come into explosion-protected metal housings, electrical apparatus or enclosures, cable glands are required.Cable glands,sometimes we call it cable connector or fitting , is a small sealing and termination device that designed specifically to help cables maintain the strength they requested when connected to various applications and equipment.
Cable glands can be supplied from metallic or non-metallic materials. There are four main types of cable glands with respect to the material grade: Polyamide (Nylon 66), brass, aluminium, stainless steel .
We also  offer plating options for corrosion protection, including nickel, tin and zinc.
Due to the cables themselves come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, with new designs regularly being introduced to the market. It is therefore essential that these cables are sealed correctly as they enter electrical equipment. So cables glands have a wide ranges accordingly.

Special metal cable glands are available for different applications, metric and PG threads . For example , explosion-proof type,EMC Type, two and multiple hole type etc.
